ASAB promotes joint activities with other European organizations in its area by:

• Appointing a European Secretary as an Officer of ASAB Council.
  
  
• Convening a Committee of European Societies for Behavioural Biology (CESBB) under the chairmanship of its European Secretary.
  
  
• Supporting a biennial Joint European Conference on Behavioural Biology (ECBB) organized through the CESBB.
  
  
• Jointly producing a European Brochure outlining the relevance of the study of animal behaviour, Research in Animal Behaviour: What and Why - see below.

Animal Behaviour Brochure

The brochure available here outlines the importance of the study of animal behaviour. It is supported by the other European societies for the study of animal behaviour. The printed version, illustrated with pictures linked to specific examples, will become available later this year. Following a call for photographs (see the Notices section) I have received some wonderful pictures, but more are still welcome!
