Wildlife Sounds
The Wildlife Section of The British Library National Sound Archive (NSA). The website of the British Library National Sound Archive has now been updated. The National Sound Archive has the most comprehensive collection of wildlife sounds in the world, with over 130,000 recordings of more than 10,000 species of animals available for study. Besides giving information about the collections and how to use them, the new website include samples of sounds from the collections and advice on sound recordings equipment and techniques. The site includes a new fully searchable catalogue of the British Library National Sound Archive collections. The catalogue lists details of over 2.5 million sound recordings, including 65,000 recordings of wildlife sounds.
